The "Eliza" gown, from Vera Wang's ethereal collection, features a strapless bodice with floating Chantilly & Alencon appliqués, complemented by a traditional ball gown skirt made of organza inserts swirled into an intricate pattern of tucks and pleats to create a sense of buoyancy. Dainty organza ties accent the back of the dress.
This dress is NOT the usual Vera Wang Eliza; it's called Eliza Luxe. This dress is truly one-of-a-kind; both fashion forward and traditional. Retailed for $15400. Unlike the regular Eliza dress, this dress has a cathedral train (see primary photo) and beading throughout the lace portion of the dress (see detail photo).
Was bought it in the Vera Wang boutique on Melrose in Los Angeles for a November 2014 indoor wedding. Has only been worn once.
I have changed my dress to have a very subtle sweetheart neckline that is much more flattering than the original.
Can be easily altered to take in or take out. There is plenty of fabric inbetween the seams if it need to be taken out.
Bustle was added for easy movement- so it will be easy to dance and party after the ceremony! I did a dress change for my reception, so there was minimal wear to the dress.
